"Matched" by Allie Condie. Mar.30-Mar.31, half of the book.
Now this book I strongly recommend! It's about a girl who lives in the future. The future is "perfect" and has a government, "The Society". Everything is controlled by the society:your job, spouse, and when you die. It reminds me of "The Giver", a book I thought was horrible(or at least the concept). The story itself was good but "The Society" intrigued me. To make sure you died when it wanted to,80, they would poison you. Your clothes were the same and you had a schedule for everything. The Society even picked your leisure activities. Plus, to make sure no one had 'too much culture' so everything could be more appreciated, when The Society first started they picked 100 songs, 100 poems, and stuff like that to be preserved. The rest was destroyed.
This book does make you think and I liked it a lot.
