"Sisters in Sanity" by Gayle Forman. Pages 1-287(whole book) Febuary 1st-4th.
Wow. This was a really good book and kind of intense you could say. It's about a girl who get sents to some rebellious teen center for therapy when really she hasn't done anything bad except dislike her stepmother. But, the center is really bad at what it does and really mean and cruel to the girls they are supposedly fixing. But, Brit (the girl) gets some friends who keep her sane (hence the book title) and they try to fight back against the center. It turns out Birt got sent to the center because of what happened to her mom. Her mom left over a year ago and went crazy and Brit's dad worries it's going to happen to her too.
This book really reminds me of a movie I've read about and done a skit for theater from the movie. The movie is called "Girl, Interrupted" and is sort of the same thing. The main girl checks herself in to an aslyum-like place and gets some friends except that moive is a lot darker than Sisters in Sanity. But it was still a very good book.
